The start of a beautiful friendship with work
I had confirmation of my first job since returning to freelancing earlier this afternoon. Thankfully, they want the whole shebang (Flash, ActionScript, PHP, ecommerce, etc) which means that (a) it’ll be a decent sized project to get my teeth into, and (b) it’ll mean I actually get paid without having to totally skin myself when I stop working at the day job.
Saying that, 5 weeks from today (Friday) I’ll be working for myself. It’s a damned scary concept, having to go it alone again, and not having a regular salary to fall back on, but I’ll be happy, and that’s the main thing.
