after checking all available calendars in the house, I’m sad to say that I pre-empted Easter… by two whole weeks! Apologies for any confusion caused!
Dang! I was so looking forward to eating those chocolate eggs and rolling them down a hill, stupidly chasing after them. Well, better not let them go to waste!
Woo! Five chocolate eggs between the 2 of us! Now to roll things down hills! Yay!
Just trawling the Interweb (as one does) and found this relatively new Douglas Adams biography. Doesn’t appear to be on Amazon UK yet, but I’m sure it’ll be on there soon.
Well, yesterday was interesting, three deadlines for the one day, but I (almost) met them all, missing the last one by a couple of hours (but they gave me a slight reprieve, which was handy).
Thank you very much Suzy for keeping me supplied with tea and hugs through the day, I couldn’t have managed without you. I know you’re not feeling 100% at the moment, but your support is truly appreciated.
And to top it all off, I tried to fix the washing machine today, thought I had (a bad mains connector) then when we tried to use the damned thing, it refused to stop filling and promptly flooded the kitchen floor.
Damnit, I must be like bloody oil: water and I certainly do not mix well.
So it looks like it’s back to the laundrette again, but with the added expense of finding a new washing machine when I’ve got some of the invoices back. And I think I’ll have to give the buca run a miss today too… Bugger!
Suzy and I are today celebrating our first anniversary of being together, so I’d like to dedicate this to her.

are like buses: you wait for ages, then three (or in this case - five) jobs come along at once. At least it’s nice to be able to pick and choose what I want to do.
Now, if only I can use my special powers to extend the working day by about 14 hours (and the weekend by 92, of course!)

The new WGW web site is now online with the information for April 2004.
Sorry about the delay, but I only received the information on Saturday and, as usual, have a day job to be getting on with.
A few pieces of information are missing, but nothing essential. I shall be updating the site in the next few days to fill in the blanks.
Also, finally, the official wgw LJ community, has been activated. We’ve had it for bloody ages, but never got around the using it. Bah!
